A cardiologist specializes in diseases of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels and manages complex cardiac conditions. Cardiologists are skilled in the functional assessment of the heart and blood vessels and in the clinical evaluation of cardiovascular disease. The Cardiologist often performs complicated diagnostic procedures and consults with surgeons on open-heart surgery and performs angioplasty as needed.


An Endocrinologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the endocrine system such as Diabetes. The endocrine system includes the glands of the human body, such as the pancreas, thyroid, thymus, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland; and their related hormones. An endocrinologist also treats complex conditions that involve many systems within the human body.
